Fall fashion trends I’m adding to my capsule wardrobe
I’m so giddy fall is right around the corner. As I write this, it’s currently 102 degrees in Bend, Oregon but I know is just a short time it will all be pumpkin spiced lattes and cozy fall sweaters. As I prepare to audit my closet and add fall items, here are some of the items I’m super excited to possibly add to my capsule wardrobe.

This is something I’m surprised I don’t have! I imagine wearing this in cool mornings while walking to the office but love the vest look with jeans and boots.

Shackets
This trend is already happening in my closet so I’m super excited to already have a long shacket and a shorter version that I’ll be sporting this fall (and probably through spring).
Chunky Turtleneck Sweaters
I’m so excited for this because I don’t have a chunky turtleneck sweater and this just screams FALL to me. I’ll be adding a neutral-colored option to my wardrobe this fall! This will go great with leggings and jeans.

Cropped Sweaters
When I was going through my clothes that were too big, I gave away two cropped sweaters I loved to I’m super excited for this v-neck option and crew neck option. I love wearing these with wide-leg pants or jeans.

Wide Leg Pants
Last spring was the first time I added wide leg pants to my wardrobe so I’m excited to see these still trending for the fall. I will likely have to repurchase another smaller pair with my weight loss. I also see baggy versions of wide leg pants that my daughter bought as part of her fall wardrobe. Wide legs pants pair amazing with the cropped sweaters from above.
